Honeysticks was born in a preschool in New Zealand when a teacher noticed children putting conventional crayons in their mouths and wanted a safer alternative. Their crayons are made in New Zealand from pure beeswax and non-toxic pigments, with no paraffin or petroleum wax.

Will the Honeysticks bath crayons wash off the tub?

Yes, Honeysticks bath crayons wash off NON-POROUS surfaces like tile and porcelain easily with water and a cloth. They may stain porous or textured surfaces like grout or natural stone.

What if my child accidentally swallows some of the bath water?

The ingredients in Honeysticks drops are food-grade (baking soda, citric acid, plant-based binders), so a small swallow of tinted bath water isn't a safety concern. The drops aren't intended to be eaten directly.

How many baths will one Honeysticks tin last?

Each Honeysticks tin contains 36 drops. One drop per bath is enough for color, so that a tin can last up to 36 baths. Of course, if your children are like mine, they will want to mix and match colors so that you could run out sooner than that.

Can my child mix colors?

Yes — the drops come in red, yellow, and blue so children can experiment with mixing primary colors in the water. This is a wonderful way to learn about color combinations.
