Baukje Exler has been an artist for over 20 years. Specializing in oil pastels, her work encompasses both figurative and abstract art, with a focus on abstract landscapes. Pastels are applied layer by layer and blended with a cloth to highlight the interplay between color and light. In addition to teaching this technique on a daily basis, Exler also works on commissioned pieces, runs an art rental service, and designs original art cards.
