Many children may also be aware of the story, the Wonderful Adventures of Nils (Holgersson) which is about a boy that is turned into a Tomte (a Swedish gnome-like figure) and runs off with a goose to travel the world. This goose can certainly play the part of the goose in the story.

The cotton is made from sustainably-produced hand-picked cotton.  The eyes are embroidered, so there is no fear of anything ever coming loose.

Small Goose (15" Cherry Pits): The cherry pits are in an inner, removable bag that can be warmed in the oven (do not microwave) or cooled in the freezer (for aches and pains).  Perfect for cold nights, or when feeling under the weather.  Children will love to cuddle up to this friendly, soft goose.

Care Instructions for Senger Stuffed Animals

If your wool filled stuffed animal gets dirty, you can first remove the coarse dirt with a brush. Since Senger only uses the best quality natural fibers (no polyester), heavy washing is usually not necessary.The pure sheep's wool filling is a natural fiber that can shrink, mat, or clump if exposed to hot water, harsh detergent, or strong spinning.

Light Cleaning:

  • Brush off coarse dirt gently.

Washing (if necessary):

  • Hand wash only
  • Use lukewarm water (comfortable to touch)
  • Use mild or wool-specific detergent
  • Avoid hot water, harsh detergents, and spinning

Washing Process:

  • Soak in clear water first
  • Add detergent and gently move the toy in the water
  • Do not rub, brush, spin, or wring

Drying:

  • Squeeze out excess water gently
  • Lay flat on an absorbent towel
  • Reshape and move occasionally while drying
  • Wet wool smell will disappear after drying
