Care Instructions for Efie Stuffed Animals

If your wool filled stuffed animal gets dirty, you can first remove the coarse dirt with a brush. Since Efie only uses the best quality natural fibers (no polyester), heavy washing is usually not necessary.The pure sheep's wool filling is a natural fiber that can shrink, mat, or clump if exposed to hot water, harsh detergent, or strong spinning.

Light Cleaning:

Brush off coarse dirt gently.

Washing (if necessary):

Hand wash only
Use lukewarm water (comfortable to touch)
Use mild or wool-specific detergent
Avoid hot water, harsh detergents, and spinning

Washing Process:

Soak in clear water first
Add detergent and gently move the toy in the water
Do not rub, brush, spin, or wring

Drying:

Squeeze out excess water gently
Lay flat on an absorbent towel
Reshape and move occasionally while drying
Wet wool smell will disappear after drying
